Synopsis
A wealthy children's book author suffering from escalating auditory hallucinations and schizophrenia retreats with her husband to an isolated cottage in the windswept Irish countryside, where she is terrorized by ghostly apparitions of her past lovers and a menacing doppelgänger of herself, murdering her hallucinations only to discover she may have killed real people.
