Synopsis

An 8-year-old schoolboy in a northern Iranian village accidentally takes his classmate's notebook home and realizes his friend will be expelled if he cannot submit his homework the next morning, defying his mother to embark on a desperate trek across the zigzag hillside path to return it. Abbas Kiarostami's sublime, poetic humanist masterpiece that inaugurated the Koker Trilogy.
