A Short Film About Love

Synopsis

A shy, 19-year-old post office worker in a grim Warsaw housing project spies through a stolen astronomical telescope on a cynical, glamorous older artist in the apartment opposite his room, confessing his pure, obsessive love to her only for her to cruelly test his illusions before falling for him in return. Krzysztof Kieślowski's tender, heartbreaking expansion of Decalogue VI on 'Thou shalt not commit adultery'.
