Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia
Synopsis
When a ruthless Mexican ranch baron offers a one-million-dollar bounty for the head of the man who impregnated his teenage daughter, a broke, alcoholic American ex-army officer playing piano in a sordid Mexico City dive bar discovers with his prostitute girlfriend that the target is already dead and buried in a provincial graveyard, embarking on a sweltering, fly-infested odyssey to dig up the head and transport it in a burlap sack while fighting off rival hitmen. Sam Peckinpah's pitch-black, deeply personal nihilistic neo-western masterpiece starring Warren Oates in his iconic sunglasses.
