In the sun-drenched vineyards of the Rhône Valley, a 45-year-old widowed winemaker is the subject of well-meaning romantic conspiracies by both her best friend, who secretly places a personal ad in a newspaper to interview potential husbands on her behalf, and her son's young girlfriend, who tries to set her up with her former philosophy professor. Éric Rohmer's Venice Best Screenplay-winning crowning finale to his Four Seasons cycle starring Marie Rivière and Béatrice Romand.
