Synopsis
Dumped by her vacation companion at the start of summer, a melancholic, emotionally vulnerable Paris secretary wanders from Cherbourg to Biarritz looking for genuine connection, deeply moved by Jules Verne's legend of the rare sunset optical flash that allows those who witness it to see clearly into their own and others' hearts. Éric Rohmer's Venice Golden Lion-winning improvised masterpiece starring Marie Rivière.
