Synopsis
Two pretentious, pseudo-intellectual young men seeking a quiet summer of ascetic detachment at a 17th-century villa in Saint-Tropez find their moral composure rattled by a carefree, promiscuous young woman who brings a new lover back to the villa every night, attempting to psychoanalyze and conquer her without falling into her collection. Éric Rohmer and Néstor Almendros' Berlin Silver Bear-winning radiant third Moral Tale.
