Synopsis
An elderly German cleaning woman and a handsome, much younger Moroccan immigrant worker fall in love and marry in Munich, facing the venomous xenophobia and ostracization of their neighbors, colleagues, and children. Rainer Werner Fassbinder's devastating, tender reworking of Douglas Sirk's melodramas.
