Synopsis

After accidentally giving the wrong home address to the vacation lover with whom she conceived her daughter, a Paris hairdresser raises her child while drifting between two patient suitors—a bookish intellectual and a warm salon owner—refusing to marry either because of an unshakeable, irrational spiritual faith that fate will reunite her with her lost true love. Éric Rohmer's Berlin FIPRESCI Prize-winning winter jewel featuring a transcendent production of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale.
