Synopsis
Three lonely strangers in Taipei—a real estate saleswoman, a street vendor of funeral urn plots, and an introverted young gay man—unknowingly share a luxury, unsold lockbox apartment, wandering through its vacant rooms in search of fleeting human contact and sexual desire. Tsai Ming-liang's Venice Golden Lion-winning minimalist masterpiece culminating in an immortal six-minute unbroken shot of a woman weeping in Daan Forest Park.
