Synopsis

On a rainy night in Taipei, an enormous cavernous 1960s cinema palace plays King Hu's wuxia classic Dragon Inn for the very last time before closing forever, with an ethereal limping ticket woman, cruising gay patrons, and the aged stars of the original movie watching their younger shadows on screen. Tsai Ming-liang's sublime, haunting elegy for the dying communal ritual of cinema.
