Synopsis
A famous, arrogant British symphony conductor suspects his glamorous young American wife of having an affair with his secretary, concocting three elaborate mental revenge scenarios while conducting Rossini, Wagner, and Tchaikovsky in concert, only for his plans to collapse into farcical physical catastrophe when he tries to execute them in real life. Preston Sturges' pitch-black screwball comedy masterpiece starring Rex Harrison and Linda Darnell.
