Synopsis

A suburban Paris housewife in a newly built concrete housing project works part-time as a casual prostitute to afford consumer goods, dresses, and television sets, accompanied by Godard's whispered voiceover reflections on urban alienation, capitalism, and the swirling cosmos inside a cup of espresso.
