Synopsis

Three World War I doughboys return home to Prohibition-era America and choose radically different paths: one becomes an ambitious bootlegging kingpin, another an unhinged ruthless killer, and the third an honest attorney. Raoul Walsh's sweeping, kinetic eulogy to the golden gangster era starring James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart.
