The Club

Synopsis

In a secluded, windswept house in a fog-shrouded coastal Chilean fishing village, four disgraced Catholic priests guilty of pedophilia, child abduction, and baby-selling live in comfortable penance breeding racing greyhounds under the supervision of a former nun, until a new pedophile priest arrives followed by a traumatized fisherman victim who shouts graphic accusations through the windows, setting off a suicide and a crisis-management cover-up. Pablo Larraín's Berlin Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize-winning biting moral indictment.
