Naked

Synopsis

Following an aggressive sexual assault in Manchester, an articulate, homeless, misanthropic intellectual flees in a stolen car to London, drifting through nocturnal Dalston streets engaged in relentless, apocalyptic, metaphysical debates on Nostradamus, quantum physics, and human misery with night watchmen, junkies, and his ex-girlfriend's flatmates. Mike Leigh's Cannes Best Director and Best Actor-winning summit starring David Thewlis in a towering, blistering performance.
