Synopsis
Divided into musical movements—The Imaginary, Fear, Commerce, and Music—the film interweaves the intersecting lives of three people in Switzerland: a television director, his ex-partner moving to the country, and an independent prostitute, punctuated by breathtaking, stuttering slow-motion studies of everyday human movement. Jean-Luc Godard's triumphant return to mainstream feature filmmaking starring Jacques Dutronc, Nathalie Baye (César Best Supporting Actress), and Isabelle Huppert.
