Synopsis
An eight-part visual anthology bringing Akira Kurosawa's recurring lifelong nocturnal dreams to vivid, painterly life: a boy who spies on a fox wedding in a sun shower, a blizzard spirit smothering mountain climbers, an encounter with Vincent van Gogh inside his canvases, a red Mount Fuji melting under radioactive nuclear reactor explosions, and a watermill village funeral celebration. Akira Kurosawa's late visual summit executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, featuring Martin Scorsese as Van Gogh.
