Day for Night
La Nuit américaine
Synopsis
At the Victorine Studios in Nice, an exhausted French film director navigates backstage romantic rivalries, pregnancy scares, neurotic lead actors, insurance catastrophes, and a scene-stealing kitten while shooting an old-fashioned melodramatic potboiler called 'Meet Pamela'. François Truffaut's joyful Oscar-winning celebration of movie-making starring Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Léaud, and Truffaut himself.
