Synopsis
A foul-mouthed, precocious ten-year-old provincial girl is left in Paris for thirty-six hours with her eccentric uncle who performs as a female impersonator in a nightclub, desperate to ride the subway only to find the Métro closed by a strike, embarking on a manic, surreal chase through the city full of slapstick speeded-up gags and visual puns. Louis Malle and Raymond Queneau's kaleidoscopic, hyperactive New Wave comedy starring Catherine Demongeot and Philippe Noiret.
