Synopsis
A shimmering triptych of romantic encounters governed by coincidence and imagination in modern Tokyo: a fashion model discovers her best friend is falling for her ex-lover, a failed college student attempts a honey-trap blackmail on a French literature professor, and two women mistake each other for old high school classmates. Ryusuke Hamaguchi's Berlin Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize-winning tour-de-force of dialogue and human connection.
