Vagabond

Synopsis

Starting with the discovery of a young woman's frozen body in a ditch in rural southern France, a documentary-like investigative reconstruction traces the final winter weeks of Mona, a fiercely defiant, rootless drifter who refused social conformity, seen through the conflicting testimonies of laborers, farmers, and academics who encountered her. Agnès Varda's Venice Golden Lion-winning masterpiece starring Sandrine Bonnaire (César Best Actress).
