Synopsis

An American radio correspondent in Paris and her commercial director French husband visit a sausage processing factory for an interview, only to be trapped inside by striking workers occupying the plant and holding the plant manager hostage in his glass office, forcing the bourgeois couple to re-examine their marriage, careers, and class complicity. Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin's Brechtian political comedy starring Jane Fonda and Yves Montand.
