Synopsis
A disillusioned American television documentary journalist covering a desert guerrilla rebellion in North Africa assumes the identity of a deceased businessman at his hotel, discovering too late that the dead man was an international arms dealer hunted by assassins. Michelangelo Antonioni's visual tour-de-force starring Jack Nicholson and Maria Schneider, culminating in an unbroken seven-minute tracking shot through hotel window bars.
