Sunday Bloody Sunday
Synopsis
In middle-class London, a cultured, middle-aged Jewish physician and an independent divorced employment recruitment consultant are both conducting simultaneous romantic affairs with the same charming, bisexual young kinetic sculptor, each aware of the other's existence but tolerating the shared arrangement rather than suffer the pain of loneliness, until the young lover leaves for America: 'People say to me: you didn't get enough... But I tell them: this is all there was. And it was something.' John Schlesinger and Penelope Gilliatt's groundbreaking, four-time Oscar-nominated masterpiece starring Peter Finch, Glenda Jackson, and Murray Head.
