Synopsis
At a grand country chateau on the shortest night of the year when the midnight sun never sets, an aging lawyer, his virgin child-bride, his former actress mistress, an arrogant dragoon count, and lusty servants engage in a sparkling, musical game of musical-beds romantic intrigue fueled by aphrodisiac wine: 'The summer night smiles three times.' Ingmar Bergman's Cannes Best Poetic Humour prize-winning comedy that brought him international renown.
