Rififi
Du rififi chez les hommes
Synopsis
Four Parisian underworld jewel thieves meticulously execute an ingenious, late-night heist of a luxury jewelry store safe by digging through the ceiling from an apartment above, with their triumph unraveled by a drug-addicted showgirl and a rival gangster syndicate. Jules Dassin's Cannes Best Director winner famous for its unbroken 30-minute safe-cracking sequence conducted in total, breathless silence.
