Synopsis
When an unexploded World War II bomb detonates in the central London district of Pimlico, it uncovers a subterranean cellar containing ancient royal parchment establishing that the neighborhood actually belongs to the medieval Duchy of Burgundy, leading the ecstatic residents to tear up their ration books and declare independent Burgundian sovereignty. Henry Cornelius and T.E.B. Clarke's beloved BAFTA-nominated Ealing comedy masterpiece.
