Synopsis
In 1980s Tuscany, a scruffy, linen-suited English archaeologist mourning his lost Italian love possesses a metaphysical dowsing gift for sensing subterranean voids, falling in with an anarchic troupe of tombaroli (grave robbers) who pillage ancient Etruscan tombs and bronzes to sell to a mysterious black-market antiquities dealer. Alice Rohrwacher and Hélène Louvart's Cannes-competing lyrical fable starring Josh O'Connor, Carol Duarte, and Isabella Rossellini.
