Synopsis
Following a failed suicide attempt, a depressed writer volunteers for a secret scientific time-travel experiment inside a fleshy, bulbous subterranean chamber, intended to return to a precise minute in his past, only for the machine to malfunction and trap him inside a shattered kaleidoscope of out-of-order memories of his doomed relationship with his depressive lover. Alain Resnais and Jacques Sternberg's sci-fi romance masterpiece that directly inspired Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
