Synopsis
In Edwardian England, the clash of three social classes is played out between the idealistic, bohemian intellectual Schlegel sisters, the wealthy, pragmatic Wilcox capitalist family, and an impoverished, self-educated lower-class bank clerk, centered on the disputed inheritance of Howards End, an idyllic Hertfordshire country estate: 'Only connect!' James Ivory and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala's triple-Oscar-winning masterpiece adapted from E.M. Forster starring Emma Thompson (Oscar Best Actress), Anthony Hopkins, and Helena Bonham Carter.
