Synopsis
In 1963 Wyoming, two stoic young ranch hands—a quiet sheep herder and a rodeo cowboy—are hired for a summer herding sheep on the isolated slopes of Brokeback Mountain, falling into a passionate, secret romantic and sexual bond that endures across twenty years of conventional marriages, domestic guilt, and homophobic terror. Ang Lee's Venice Golden Lion and Oscar-winning tragedy starring Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal.
