Synopsis

Against an unchanging, hypnotic field of luminous International Klein Blue (IKB 191), Derek Jarman presents an audio tapestry of voices, sound design by Simon Fisher Turner, and music by Brian Eno and Coil, chronicling his terminal battle with AIDS-related cytomegalovirus that rendered him partially blind, reflecting on mortality, queer love, blue delphiniums, and the end of life. Derek Jarman's final, transcendent cinematic testament completed months before his death.
