Black Sunday
La maschera del demonio
Synopsis
In 17th-century Moldavia, a vengeful witch and her warlock paramour are condemned by the Inquisition and executed with spiked bronze demon masks hammered into their faces, rising from their crypt two centuries later through accidental blood spillage to possess the witch's lookalike descendant and drink the life blood of her dynasty. Mario Bava's breathtaking black-and-white Gothic horror directorial debut starring Barbara Steele in her immortal dual breakthrough role.
