Synopsis

A poetic, carnivalesque autobiographical tapestry chronicling one year through the seasons of the coastal Adriatic town of Borgo San Giuliano in the 1930s under Fascism, seen through the hormone-fueled eyes of adolescent Titta and his eccentric community: the voluptuous tobacconist, the town beauty Gradisca, a peacock in the snow, and the midnight ocean liner Rex. Federico Fellini's Best Foreign Language Film Oscar-winning masterpiece.
